This tree…….it was sooo magnificent!!! It caught my eye as I was wandering along a track at Wilson’s Promontory.
The light and texture spilling across its twisted limb somewhere near Tidal River, had me absolutely spellbound as I tried to capture this.
The wild surrounds of this stunning national park are at the southern most tip of the Australian mainland. Its raw beauty is very much carved and shaped by the intense weather it endures.
To give a timeless, earthy feel to this black and white image I have applied a light sepia tone which again emphasizes form and draws our attention into the landscape.
