Walk in the stunningly beautiful Himalaya range is a truly wonderful experience whether you do the ever popular trek to Everest Base Camp or explore the incredible Annapurna region.
During a 10 day hike initially on the Annapurna Circuit we split off and headed towards Khopra Ridge where we were rewarded with the most magnificent views of various sections of both the Dhaulagiri & Annapurna mountain ranges.
On the day I took this photo we had been off the main Annapurna trail for several days and were climbing up above the treeline. When I turned around we had stunning views of the clouds and mist lingering amongst the forests.
This image is the result of that particular moment in time and has proven its appeal through receiving a number of photographic awards.
